Rotate Object Tool

 

Rotates the currently selected objects

 

Mode: this allows the user to specify which axis the objects will rotate in

 

Plane: this allows the user to specify which plane the objects will rotate in.  This sets the plane button on the set of mode buttons

 

Co-ordinates: which co-ordinate system to use for the rotation.  World is the overall co-ordinate system, Local is relative to the objects, Parent is relative to the owning object.  If any object does not have parent this defaults to the world co-ordinates system.

 

Lock Children: when checked, stops the children of the object being rotated with their parent

 

Delta: allows the user to specify a value to rotate the object by

 

Apply: rotates the objects by the delta value
